DIS Projects

Rearward Load Test - Armrest: (Click for Video)
Example of rearward load testing on vehicle armrest. Load of 45N to the rearward direction. Max load (45N) is at the 7.5 second mark (indicated in the information box at Time(sec). 3 dimensional data calculations are shown for each measurement point dynamically through the entire process.

Engine Test: (Click for Video)
DIS leaps forward to improve engine performance with large manufacturer. Dynamic Intelligent Solutions (DIS) recently helped a major manufacturer of small engines discover root cause for fatigue on an exhaust manifold utilizing its innovative ChamberCam(TM) system in an ambient test environment. A 37 minute measurement test identified the surface movement due to thermal expansion at each flange location.

Door Panel Test: (Click for Video)
Door panel test during thermal cycle. Going from ambient temp to 80°C and back down to ambient temp. Deformation of the surface and direction of movement is displayed. Graphs identify changes in X,Y,Z values based against the very first measurement (home measurement).

IP Climate Test: (Click for Video)
IP testing during weather chamber tests. Going from ambient temp to 80°C and back down to ambient temp. The deformation is shown by arrows that move the same direction as its associated point. Graphs identify changes in X,Y,Z values based against the very first measurement (home measurement).

Seat Lumbar Test: (Click for Video)
Seat deformation testing as the back of the seat had pressure applied to it. The measurements show the direction of point movement along with the amount of movement from original position.

Shade Weight Test: (Click for Video)
A rear cargo pull shade, in car position, has 25 pounds of weight placed on it. Multiple measurement locations are recorded at a 1 shot per second interval. The direction of change and amount of change (in mm) are indicated in the info pins that point to its respective measurement point.
